OVERVIEW

Featuring renowned early childhood experts and motivational speakers, Splash Cruising the Country offers a chance to brush up on your skills, learn new strategies and techniques for joyful instructional practices, network and collaborate with peers – and enjoy time celebrating YOU, our educational heroes.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Splash Cruising the Country educational sessions will focus on critical early childhood topics, including:

Cognitive and Language Development Through Play
Essentials and Strategies of Writing
Making Center Time Intentional
Optimizing the Classroom for Dual Language Learners
Essential Leadership Competencies
Intentional Guided STEAM Experiences
Music and Movement – and MORE!

Session content will support the ultimate goal of creating a learning environment to ensure school readiness success! Get energized for the classroom and take home creative new ideas to share with the children in your early childhood program.

Attendees will receive an attendance certificate for 6 hours of PD training.
*An additional 3 hours will be added if the optional Curriculum Training is selected.

TRAINING

The optional Diving Deeper Curriculum Training is designed for participants seeking to expand their knowledge of Frog Street curriculum to further increase the effectiveness of its implementation. This session provide an opportunity for early childhood educators to share their classroom experience and to strengthen their understanding of using the Frog Street curriculum with fidelity. Teachers are encouraged to bring questions and findings based on their classroom observations and experiences.

Learn how to plan age-appropriate activities by developmental domains
Understand and participate in the components of the instructional day
Incorporate and adapt Brain Smart Start to strengthen social and emotional development
Learn how to differentiate instruction to increase achievement of learning goals

Attendees will receive an attendance certificate for an additional 3 hours of PD training.

FEES

SPLASH CRUISING THE COUNTRY
October 19 – 21, 2023
Event begins: Thursday, 7:00 pm (EST)
Event ends: Saturday, 11:30 (EST)

REGISTRATION FEES:
The fee for the full-day professional development event (Thursday evening and Friday) is $399.
The fee for the optional Diving Deeper Curriculum Training (Saturday) is $75.

Payment options through the event registration system include credit card or PO.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN SPLASH CRUISING THE COUNTRY?

A paid registration to the Splash Cruising the Country event includes the following:
– Kick-off Meet & Greet and Reception (Thursday evening)

ARE ANY MEALS PROVIDED WITH MY REGISTRATION?

For ease and convenience, beverages will be provided before the conference begins, as well as a themed luncheon on Friday during the conference.

WHAT IS THE OPTIONAL FROG STREET CURRICULUM TRAINING?

Optional Curriculum Trainings are offered on Saturday in the morning from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. These sessions are designed for early childhood programs and districts that have purchased the Frog Street curriculum.

WHAT DO I WEAR TO CRUISING THE COUNTRY - CALIFORNIA?

Dress for a casual day of learning and celebrating early childhood education!

IF I AM UNABLE TO ATTEND, CAN SOMEONE ATTEND IN MY PLACE?

YES! Frog Street will allow someone else to take your place if you are unable to attend the event. These changes must be made 2 weeks prior to the event. Due to space commitments based on registered attendees, refunds will not be given for Cruising the Country.
