Emily Keesler
Cleburne ISD
Emily Keesler is perhaps the tallest early childhood educator in recent history, with over 6 years of experience helping some of the youngest learners in Texas develop a love for learning and literature. She is passionate about creating a safe space where children can be their most authentic selves and takes great care to ensure that every child that enters her classroom is able to find themselves within the media they consume. Emily received her B.S. in interdisciplinary studies from Tarleton State University and is set to graduate with her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction this summer from Western Governors University. She has taught both kindergarten and preschool across multiple school districts, the most recent being Cleburne ISD. She was born and raised here in Texas and can be found on any given day at her home in Keene with her daughter Ottilie and dachshund Ethyl in her lap as she and her partner Jonathan read them their favorite stories (with all the voices, of course).
